Mirman School named a Top 10 California School by Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth
The Mirman School for Gifted Children has been named a top 10 California School in the 2009 CTY Talent Search by Johns Hopkins University's Center for Talented Youth.
In an announcement made by the organization's Executive Director Lea Ybarra, Ph.D, "Participating at high levels in the annual CTY Talent Search reflects upon the school's academic quality, student abilities, and teacher talent. It also reflects upon the school leadership that encourages students to seek out educational challenges beyond traditional school walls."
In addition to placing in the top ten statewide, Mirman School was listed as the top school for the Los Angeles region.
