Raised to the power of Mirman
As part of our extended programs, Mirman School offers the following two options: Annex and enrichment.

The after-school Annex supports the needs of our families by offering supervised childcare from dismissal to 6:00 p.m. on days school is in session for the full school day. In order to provide a safe and comfortable environment, we ask that families sign up for Annex. Please complete this form to register for the annual or semester option. Daily signups must be submitted via SchoolPass, no later than 1 p.m. on the day you wish to utilize Annex.
 
There will be no Annex on the following days
  • November 9 – Fall Festival
  • December 15 - Staffulty Holiday Party
  • June 7 - Last Day of School
  • June 8 - Graduation Day
All Mirman School policies apply to students participating in the Annex. Cell phone use is not permitted.
 
Annex Rates
  • $675 per school year
  • $400 per semester
  • $18 per day ($15 daily rate for two or more siblings) until 6:00 p.m. 
  • $10 per day ($8 daily rate for two or more siblings) for pickups prior to 5:00 p.m.
  • Students picked up after 6:00 p.m. will be charged $5 per minute.
Students not picked up by 4:00 p.m. will join Annex at the daily rate.
These rates do not apply to students participating in athletics, enrichment, or theater programs.

Families receiving tuition assistance qualify for the same percentage of assistance applied to the cost of Annex. Please direct inquiries regarding tuition assistance to the Business Office.
 
The Enrichment Program runs from 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Students enrolled in enrichment classes can stay at Annex (after their class) at no additional charge. Classes that do not meet the minimum enrollment of 8 students will be canceled.

  • ACE Escape (1st-8th Grade)

    ACE ESCAPE is an interactive and team building class, focused on getting kids moving, thinking outside the box, and working together! Each day a new story/challenge will be presented. Go undercover to expose a heist operation, see if you can unlock the mysteries of time travel or escape the haul of a sinking pirate ship. In ACE ESCAPE, students will learn how to work together using logic and wit, to race the clock in order to solve whatever challenge or mystery the day might bring.
  • Chess (Kindergarten-8th Grade)

    Checkmate! Chess has never been more fun! In this class, we introduce chess through exciting  stories, games, and special techniques, allowing children to develop their skills in a short period  of time. This class is great for all skill levels. Through this historic and challenging game,  students will develop their analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills. Learn how to  play chess for the first time or develop your current chess game – see you in class! All materials  provided.
  • Professor Egghead’s Astronauts (K-3rd Grade)

    Tuesdays - 9/6, 9/13, 9/20, 9/27, 10/4, 10/11, 10/18, 10/25, 11/1, 11/8, 11/15, 11/22, 11/29, 12/6

    Blast off this session with the Egghead Astronaut Crew as we explore the far reaches of our universe. Students will set off rockets, make huge chemical reactions, make lava slime, look for life and rocks on other planets, recycle water in space, and make out of this world volcanoes on their way to becoming astronauts! The best part? They get to take home their experiment every week!
  • Hogwarts Magic Workshop (K-3rd Grade)

    Wednesdays - 9/7, 9/14, 9/21, 9/28, 10/12, 10/19, 10/26, 11/2, 11/16, 11/30, 12/7 (No class: 10/5, 11/9, 11/23)

    Expelliarmus! Hogwarts’ Magic Workshop is here to amaze with spells, tricks, props, and  techniques for our young wizards. Following the Code of Gryffindor, students will be just like  Harry Potter and develop new skills, dexterity, creativity, stage presence, and self-confidence.  All props are provided, and a new trick is sent home each class!
  • Mini Mustangs (K-3rd Grade)

    LA Evolution soccer and fitness program emphasizes correct soccer fundamentals and techniques in a fun way. Our goal is to create a positive environment, to instill our students with a sense of confidence, coordination and a love of the game. Our target is to make sure every child feels included in each activity while having fun!
  • Professor Egghead’s Amusement Park Lego Engineering (K-3rd Grade)

    Wednesdays - 9/7, 9/14, 9/21, 9/28, 10/12, 10/19, 10/26, 11/2, 11/16, 11/30, 12/7 (No Class: 10/5, 11/9, 11/23)

    Using LEGO™, we'll build huge spinning Merry-Go-Rounds, Mega Ferris Wheels, Speeding Roller Coasters, and everything in between as we create giant Amusement Parks! Then, we'll test our creations like a real theme park engineer would! Professor Egghead Science Academy offers the coolest science and engineering programs for girls and boys in grades K - 3rd. ™
  • Sewing and Embroidery (1st-8th Grade)

    Learn to hand sew and embroider with Miss Shannon's Sewing Class! Children will learn how to  sew on a button, the running stitch, back stitch and chain stitch. Patching and embellishing  clothing is also taught by bringing in different projects to teach each skill. Projects include felt  coin bags, mini apple pillows, calico/plaid bears, felt penguins, berets and images like deer, cats  and birds to embroider. All materials are pre-cut and provided. Sewing kits include a canvas bag  with 15 skeins of thread, pins, needles, scissors and an embroidery hoop, all inside a bright blue  canvas bag.
  • World of Art (K-8th Grade)

    Tuesdays - 9/6, 9/13, 9/20, 9/27, 10/4, 10/11, 10/18, 10/25, 11/1, 11/8, 11/15, 11/22, 11/29, 12/6 

    In this class, students will explore artists, techniques, and cultures  through various art projects. Each project is inspired by a different artist or people group from  all around the world! Each unique class will focus on a new medium and theme. Students will be  inspired to use their creativity and to create their own masterpieces.
