Raised to the power of Mirman

Strategy 1:

Transformative learning for a complex world

Foster intellectual curiosity. Embrace social responsibility. Create impact.

Our Goal:

Mirman will build on its strong foundation to be a school where highly gifted students apply their intellect, creativity, and empathy to real-world challenges by engaging in interdisciplinary learning, ethical use of emerging technologies, and purposeful action that prepares students to lead and improve their communities and the broader world.

Strategic Initiatives:

  1. Clearly articulate a research-based approach to highly gifted education
  2. Design signature programs that center interdisciplinary, real-world learning that builds thinkers, creators, and problem-solvers
  3. Implement a clear, school-wide model of differentiation across disciplines
  4. Operationalize an applied, ethical, and creative AI learning framework
  5. Expand service learning projects to incorporate student voice and agency
  6. Evolve SEL curriculum and scope and sequence that is uniquely suited for highly gifted learners
This Strategic Plan represents the diligent work of a dedicated team of educators, administrators, Trustees, parents, alumni parents, and students. This team conducted interviews, led think tanks and workshops, and thoughtfully crafted the text within these pages. The plan was also made possible by the guidance of Greg Bamford of Leadership and Design.
